Hillcroft’s Story
Hillcroft Nursing Homes have been established for over 30 years and are still today owned and operated as a family business; following a set of values we live by.
The most important asset in our homes is unquestionably our people. Our residents’ comfort and wellbeing are of paramount significance and this is reflected in the passion, dedication and positive attitude of our colleagues. The commitment to training and developing each of our colleagues is something we are distinctly proud of with our dedicated training academy to ensure that there is a provision for constant personal development for all of our colleagues in their given field.
Being a Hillcroft trainee assistant practitioner
Hillcroft is a values-driven organisation; Caring, Respectful and Committed guide us in our everyday behaviours. We are respectful of each other, caring and committed to enriching the lives of our residents.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced care staff to develop their career through undertaking a 2-year, higher level course in collaboration with UCLan. The programme involves a combination of full-time work with guaranteed 20% off the job learning. When qualified, an Assistant Practitioner will work alongside our nurses and will be able to take charge on units, administer medications and be involved in care planning for our residents. The cost of this training will be fully funded by Hillcroft.
