Terry Braithwaite is a resident at our Carnforth home and he recently celebrated his birthday on New Years Day.
His family took the time to kindly write a letter to Tracey Cooke, Matron at Carnforth, thanking her and the team for all of their hard work.
“We visited Terry on the afternoon of the 1st January – it was his birthday. We would like to thank you and all of the staff on Ash Unit for making it a lovely day. There were birthday banners up and the tables were beautifully laid for New Years Day.
Terry received two parcels and a card from Hillcroft and a lovely iced cake with candles on that we all enjoyed!
Christmas Day was also a lovely day when we visited Terry. Our thanks go to all the staff who were on duty and looked after Terry and all the residents so well. They worked so hard to make sure they all enjoyed Christmas Day. We really appreciate the effort you all make for your residents to have such memorable days.
Our thanks to you all, you are all very special people and we appreciate everything you do for Terry.
Love from Pat & Diane (and our family).”
